Cartmel occurs as village around Cumbria several miles west of Grange-over-Sands. A village is the location of the 12th century Cartmel Priory. It has other recently turn into called a "home of sticky toffee pudding". Its racecourse hosts popular meetings two or threefold a year, traditionally within Whit Week.
